The Pax Center prioritizes the health and safety of our community, volunteers and staff. We are taking extra precautions around our facility, and we are prepared to respond to increased needs for food related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The COVID-19 will likely impact LaPorte County residents in profound ways. For ten years, State Street Community Church and the Pax Center have been helping those who are food insecure in our community. We don’t plan on quitting now.

If you are able, please consider helping keep LaPorte County well-fed and well-loved during the Coronavirus outbreak by supporting the Pax Center. Our costs will undoubtedly increase over the next few months. With a $25 donation, we can feed a family of four with enough food for five days. Every person matters. Every dollar counts.

All donations are tax-deductible. Thank you for your generosity.

PARTNERS

FOOD PANTRY

Instead of having our patrons shop for food like our standard process, we will instead provide pre-made boxes with enough food to last 3-5 days. Visitors should convene in the back of the Pax Center, where the Pax Center volunteers will detail the new practices.

COMMUNITY MEAL
